“Citizen Watch Co., Ltd.” is a famous Japanese producer of clockworks and wrist watches placed in Tokyo (Japan). Citizen has been in the first place founded as Shokosha Watch Research Institute in the year 1918. The concern was established in 1924 when the first product, a small pocket watch called Citizen, was placed on the market. In 1930 the company assumed the name Citizen Watch Company, too.
